Iran has an extensive
transportation system with vast
and effective road, rail, and
air transportation networks
which connect every point of the
country to the rest, and to the
borders and beyond. It also has
fully equipped ports both on the
Caspian sea and particularly on
the Persian Gulf and the sea of
Oman which link the country to
the rest of the world. The main
way for transportation in Iran
is by road. The whole networks
of the roads are freeways, express ways, main roads and
bypasses.
